Blended Impact Awards $5,500 In Prizes To University Students Across California
June 2024 - Blended Impact is proud to sponsor the inaugural Technology & Asset Management Fellowship & Competition produced by our nonprofit affiliate arm, Blended Impact Labs. The Technology and Asset Management Fellowship (TAM) is a young adult fellowship and prize competition designed as a career exploration opportunity for participants. Spanning three months across two phases, this program is a talent development and mentoring initiative focused on emerging tech hubs and open to current undergraduate and graduate students, along with competitive non-student applicants aged 16-24 (aka Opportunity Youth).
By bridging the gap between varying educational opportunities across regions and industry needs, the fellowship offers youth resume-building access to explore career paths in high-paying fields such as venture capital, private equity, investment banking, technology entrepreneurship, economic development, real estate development, and more. The 2024 cohort accepted 26 Fellows exploring technology and asset management career paths, fostering greater competitiveness in the marketplace and opportunities for career success in phase one. Sixteen met the graduation requirements and were invited to advance to the competition stage, with eight fellows qualifying as finalists in phase two.
On Wednesday June 26th, the eight finalists were joined by their parents, professors, and community members virtually via Zoom with up to 70 attendees on the call to cheer on the fellows in their final presentations. As an organization headquartered in an emerging tech hub, we see it as essential to foster the talent and ecosystem development needed as the conversations grow.
