The Art Behind Our Business

From inception we aspired for the Blended Impact brand to symbolize the meeting point of discipline and innovation, alluding to our work in both the built environment and technology.

We found our inspiration in the creations of renowned Dutch painter, Piet Mondrian. Not only is his work seen in architecture across the world, but he is also known to strive for his art to "transcend reality", which is our aspirational goal in business. 

Each year we reinterpret this inspiration into our own artwork based on a theme for the year. Explore how we think about each year in the visuals below.

2024: “SoCal Sun”

"SoCal Sun" alludes to Mondrian's style in the form, combined with our signature colors— darker grays and black to signify form with a pop of bright yellow as innovation standing out. The choice of a crimson sun pays homage to our SoCal roots, as well as alludes to our research area for 2024 in emerging climate technologies.
